This practical session will explore the assessment, management and safe decision-making required when evaluating adult patients with head injuries, including recognition of red flags and appropriate referral.

This practical session will explore the assessment, investigation and management of wrist injuries, with a focus on recognising significant injury, avoiding missed fractures and making safe referral decisions.

Nail bed injuries are a common presentation in primary and urgent care and require careful assessment to ensure the best functional and cosmetic outcomes. This practical session will explore the assessment, management and repair of nail bed injuries, including the recognition of associated fractures, soft tissue injuries and those requiring onward referral.

Rib & Chest Injuries
Accurately assessing rib and chest injuries is essential to distinguish uncomplicated trauma from potentially serious underlying injury. This practical session will explore the assessment and management of rib and chest injuries, with a focus on recognising red flags, identifying associated complications and making safe referral decisions.
