Maria Urban
Clinical Director - Advanced Clinical Conferencing
With over 25 years’ experience in urgent and emergency care, qualifying in 1998. Maria's career spans key clinical and leadership roles, including Emergency Department Sister, Practice Development Nurse, and Clinical Team Lead across two Minor Injury Units.
Maria is passionate about developing confident, capable teams and maintaining high standards in patient care. She has a strong interest in education and is committed to creating learning environments where staff feel supported, challenged, and able to thrive.
Maria is an engaging and down-to-earth speaker, having presented at international conferences in Cyprus, Malta, and the UK, as well as organising and leading local conferences that focus on practical learning and shared experience.
She holds a Dip N, BSc (Hons), and MSc and remains committed to continuous professional development and delivering safe, effective care.
